This may vary by country and a local legal advisor will be able to confirm this for you. Notwithstanding this, it is our belief that this topic goes beyond any legal requirement and is an ethical expectation of employees. For those organisations in the UK the Health and Safety Executive does stipulate six factors which should be evaluated to manage stress at work. There is also case law (Helen Green vs Deutsche Bank, 2006) where £800k award was given to the claimant.
